Opera web browser?

How do you set up how much space you want for the cache/temporary internet files for opera?

Opera web browser?microsoft live

This is how you set up how much disk cache you want to set in Opera:

In Opera, click on Tools-%26gt; Preferences (or press ctrl+F12 or Alt+p) -%26gt; Advanced (tab). In the Advanced tab, click on History in the left pane . Now on the right you'll see an entry by the name of Disk cache . Select how much 'space' you want to have for the disk cache from this dropdown. And finally hit OK

Similarily , you can also set the memory cache you want in the same 'History' section. The default setting is automatic which means Opera dynamically assigns the memory cache to be used, and this can be upto 10% of your memory. The more the memory cache available, the faster will be the back and forward button browsing speed for instance. However, it can slow down the system in general. I suggest you leave this setting at 'automatic' because Opera manages its memory cache quite well.

But for some reason If you don't want Opera to dynamically assign the memory cache to be used(like if u have lesser RAM), change from the Memory cache dropdown in the History section as to how much memory cache you want Opera to use. IF your on 256 MB RAM, consider changing to value to 4MB , if on 512 MB keep the value at 4 MB or 10 MB and so on...

that's it :)
