Why Firefox over Opera or I.E7?

Give me one reason to use Firefox over Opera or I.E7 that hasn't been debunked by firefoxmyths.com

Off the bat for those who don't want to check this means, no saying it reads html better then I.E because both I.E and Firefox fail the acid two test, no saying it's faster or more secure or solves the spyware problem and don't bother saying it has skins, if that's the only reason to use a browser then I will just dismiss your answer and laugh.

The acid two test for those who still think Firefox reads html better then I.E7.

Personaly I use Opera but keep Firefox and I.E7 with me whenever I want to compare them.

Why Firefox over Opera or I.E7?internet explorer update

well opera is ok if u get used to it ... IE is the most hacked piece of software on the planet tho ... thats why ...

Why Firefox over Opera or I.E7?web browser internet explorer

safari for windows is by far so much better than all three of those. i have found that it works much better compared to those. also, safari is so much safer to use than the other 3 because it is the least hacked browser right now so there aren't many exploits.
i have tried both. firefox works effieciently and is user friendly. it reads java quickly too. firefox lets u manage bookmarks and rss better than IE or Opera. Firefox also created tabbed browsing. i feel firefox is more user-friendly than any other.
Using Firefox, IE or whatever -

It all comes down to "personal preference" and someones opinion

Which do you prefer a Ford or a Honda?

Which is better?

IE and Firefox - same argument.
Firefox IS faster, with the right settings, it can make several simultaneous connections to a server, IE can only make 3 to 5. Secondly, that site you linked to is utter bull ****. "Non profit organization" does NOT mean that the employees are volunteering their time. Almost all non profit companies still pay their employees. It appears that site is made for more of a joke, not debunking any serious facts.

Firefox DOES render HTML and CSS better than IE, in fact, IE doesn't even support most CSS2 properties.

Firefox IS stable, much more so than IE, unless you have installed a plugin or something that is causing it to be unstable, but that's not the fault of Firefox.

Firefox IS secure, and its few vulnerabilities are generally patched within 14 days. IE has a horrible security track record.

Many of the things listed on that website are common sense to people with an average IQ, and not necessarily as bad as they are portrayed.
There is no reason. Opera is by far the best of the three. The only downside to Opera is the lack of extentions and toolbars.
OK, first off: "Better" is an opinion. Opinions can be misinformed, yes, but saying they are wrong is another opinion.

Why is Firefox better?

Because it's open to changes / additions.

With add-ons like Greasemonkey you can change sites *completely* to your whim. You can take info from one site and build it into another one.

Anything anyone thinks needs to be added / changed can be. And the changes aren't forced on everyone else - just those who seek and choose them.

IE7 and Opera prohibit changing their software. Firefox practically encourages it!

And as for the acid2 test - I've heard Firefox will be able to pass it with flying colours in the next big update.

If you have problems with Firefox, how about becoming part of the solution instead of using the minor issues to feed your pride?
