Oh, this is easy! Opera combines more art forms than any other, um, art: music, acting, story-telling, poetry (sort of, in the lyrics), costumes, painting, settings and backdrops, sometimes ballet, or folk or ballroom dancing... That's all I can think of offhand. History also plays a part of some operas.

So you have at least 8 art forms to talk about!

Think of how the music can express the mood of the drama. Music can draw emotions out of us that drama alone may not be able to do. Drama and music work together.

The costumes and sets are often so magnificent that they're works of art in themselves, as well as being historically accurate. I'm talking ballrooms with chandaliers and the works, the inside of a church -- truly grandiose settings.

Use your imagination, and you'll come up with more than enough for 2 pages :-)

it takes damn good vocal chords to sing opera. thats interesting
The atmosphere! Grand opera is marvelous. The costumes, the theatre, even the fat soprano can be amusing!

Opera is also the predecessor to our musicals. Try watching "Phantom of the Opera" for an idea.
