Are there any songs like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, like pop or rock opera genre?

Bohemian Rhapsody is soooo good, especially that opera part and I think I like opera, but usual opera is kinda boring to me and it would be great if there would be a singer singing opera in rock style. Mika has that song that was inspired by some opera but I dont really like falsetto singing. there is a genre called classical crossover, but on yahoo music in this genre there are mostly singers like Il Divo, but I want it in a more happy rock stye, like Bohemian Rhapsody is. if you know how Bohemian Rhapsody sounds like, then you know what I'm thinking about.

are there any musicians singing opera as a pop music? but not really like Il Divo, they are great but its not really for me. Queen has some songs that are like opera but its more hyper rock style. 'I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike'. anyone knows what I'm thinking about?

The Dears is an indie alternative band from Canada, they sound good, try with the songs 22:The Death of all Romance, or Whites Only Party. They don't sound like opera but is musically interesting.

You can also try with Emma Shapplin, she's the one from the movie "the fifth element" (Diva).

i just got turned on to Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time ever in my life... and it blew my mind... i like that song now... i like that one... dont stop me now.. queen... i know what your talking about but i really havent heard anything that comes close...
Have you heard Freddie Mercury with Montserrat Caball茅? She's an opera singer and Freddie did an album of duets with her called "Barcelona" that merges opera with pop and I think does a pretty good job of mixing the 2

Apart from that, I can't think of anything else so I dunno if I helped much
Okay, it's not pop, maybe a little more like rock/metal, but try some artists like Iron Maiden, Dio, or even Hammerfall if you like opera sound mixed with other music.
This version of "Phantom of the Opera" by Nightwish is pretty awesome...

Actually quite a few of their songs have an opera sound to them, might be a little "darker" than what you are looking for though.
The Who album "Tommy" is a rock opera
